The Peace Pole Program
A visible commitment to peace in the neighborhood.
A Peace Pole is a simple, beautiful marker planted on sanctuary grounds — a quiet declaration that this place stands for peace, for community, for good. Each Peace Pole connects one sanctuary to every other in a shared rhythm.
Every sanctuary participating at the Steward Circle level ($88/month) receives a Peace Pole. WholeFam travels to join the planting ceremony and welcome the sanctuary into the network. The planting is simple — a gathering, a few words, and the pole set into the earth. It marks the sanctuary as part of something larger than itself.

What the Peace Pole Means
The Peace Pole is a practice. It says: this ground is for peace. This neighborhood is for peace. This work is for good, for good's sake. It is a quiet, visible anchor — a point of connection between every sanctuary in the network, and between each sanctuary and its neighbors.
How It Works
- 1
A sanctuary joins the network at the Steward Circle level ($88/month).
- 2
WholeFam provides the Peace Pole and coordinates the planting ceremony.
- 3
WholeFam travels to the sanctuary for the planting — a simple gathering with the sanctuary community.
- 4
The Peace Pole is planted on the sanctuary grounds, marking it as part of the WholeFam network.
- 5
The sanctuary is listed on the WholeFam directory and connected to the interchange network.
The Network of Peace Poles
Each Peace Pole planted is one more point in a growing network — sanctuaries across the country and around the world, each one a quiet commitment to peace and community. As the network grows, the poles connect: a map of places where people have chosen to stand for good, together.
